Google boasts two music streaming services, one of them is Google Play Music – that has been in the market since 2011 – and another is YouTube Music hat is launched recently by the team. If you have been using Spotify to listen to your favorite music and want to use Play Music now, you need to transfer your playlist to Google Play Music from Spotify first. It is not that easy to export or import music using Play Music. You might see the solution on some websites that it can be done through java applet which you need to save as a bookmark in the web browser that you are using. Most of the given process doesn’t work, but these two below-given apps are destined to help you.
Stamp
The Stamp is one of the best apps to transfer the playlist to Google Play Music from Spotify. It is accessible on almost all the platforms such as Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and even Linux. Get this app in your device from the dedicated app store.
Once you get it, select Spotify as the source and then choose Google Play Music as the destination for transferring the playlist. You will see the message on your screen that Google Play Music allows 1000 songs only in the playlist and it might take some time. The next screen will ask you for a password. To get the same, visit the My Account page of Google and in the Security option, and click the App Passwords option. Now, type in the app name – that is Stamp – and generate a 16-digit unique code from there. Don’t forget to copy the password.
Go to the Stamp app again and sign in to Google Play Music through the app password instead of the usual password of your dedicated Google account. Select the Spotify playlists for transferring to the Google Play Music. After you are done with choosing, click on the Begin option. You will be redirected to the migration screen soon. The process might take some time. If you have the free version of Stamp, the Stamp app will transfer only ten songs from one playlist.
Soundiiz
If you are a web user, Soundiiz is the perfect solution for you. It is compatible with various streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon Music and more. Get started with the process only by visiting its website and clicking the Start option over there. Then, you will have to log in with the associated email ID or through one of your social media profiles.
Go to the left section of the screen and click on the Transfer option to initiate the transfer process. Choose the Playlists option now. From the available streaming service, select Spotify and allows all the asked permissions. Click one or all of the desired playlists for transferring to Google Play Music and hit then the Confirm and continue button once you are done. Some additional options will pop up on your screen, which allows you to delete duplicate tracks, set playlists as private or public, and change the description and title of the playlist. You need to click the Save configuration option after you are done with the given options.
The next step of the transfer process allows you to remove songs that you want from the playlist. This feature makes it better than the Stamp. Select the Confirm Tracklist once you are done with removing songs. Now, choose Google Play Music from the given music streaming services.
You will have to provide an access code now. To get the access code, click the Get An Access Code option and keep following the instructions given on screen. Google will provide you the dedicated code, which you can paste here easily. The transfer process will be successfully started after pasting the code. Though Google Play Music is not included with the free plan of Soundiiz and you will have to pay a dedicated amount to access it properly.
