Most Anticipated Games of 2020

This year seems a little dull for game releases due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Most of the games announced didn’t have a mention of their release dates. This has created a wave of confusion and uncertainty among the fans. But things are supposed to change as we step into the fall of 2020. November is anticipated to be a month that’ll come as a treat to the long awaiting fans. We’re listing down some of the most anticipated upcoming games of this year.

Marvel’s Avengers

The Square Enix and Marvel partnership has surely worked towards triggering a wave of excitement among the fans. The Marvel comics universe has been a major contributor behind the immense popularity of the Marvel series. This would be different from the traditional superhero Marvel games that we’re used to. The game would be designed to keep the players engaged for as long as possible. There will be custom builds for customizing players so that no two players have the same looking Thors.

Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite is a flagship game by Microsoft designed to be playable on all the versions of Xbox and Windows. The game is set to launch along with the new Xbox Series X. Though the graphics of the game have been subject to criticisms, they are eager to have the Halo lineup going with the introduction of this new title. The game is going to feature a free multiplayer mode along with advanced story modes. Halo Infinite has certainly made us excited.

The Medium

The Bloober Team is known to be the master of gut-wrenching horror games, and The Medium is no different. The game is set as a title to be launched along with the series X. Horror fans are in for a treat with the new gameplay. However, the Bloober team seems to have more in store than just a typical horror game; the title is anticipated to feature strong gameplay mechanics, such as gameplay with Dual Reality. The Medium is set to launch in the holidays of 2020 for the Xbox Series X as well as for PC.

Outriders

Square Enix is all set to launch its new title in the Sci-Fi RPG genre with Outsiders. The game will be made available to all the upcoming next-gen consoles, including the Xbox Series X. The game trailers and teasers indicate a familiar vibe that we know from games like Mass Effect and Destiny. It looks to be the rise of a new big Sci-Fi series. The story revolves around players who are awakened from their cryosleep after an Anomaly strikes them. This game is also set to be released on all platforms by the end of quarter 4.

Call of Duty 2020

This one is probably the most anticipated game of the year. Not much clarity is provided about the release of the new generation of the Call of Duty franchise. The franchise saw a recent addition of the new title, Call of Duty: War Zone a few days back. But still, the Call of Duty 2020 remains the big new addition worth waiting for. Some third-party leaks have promised that the game will be released soon.

So these were some of the most anticipated upcoming games of this year. Let’s hope that the pandemic situation gets better, and we finally see the end to our long waits with the release of these titles.
