How to Reset your MacBook Pro

There are many reasons to reset your MacBook Pro, like when it runs very slow, the sound does not work properly, has display issues,  takes a lot of time to start up, overheating, crashing and many other typical issues. So, here are some steps help you reset your MacBook Pro.

Reset the NVRAM
Here is the process of resetting the NVRAM in MacBook Pro. Follow the instructions carefully.
•    First, you will have to understand that Non-Volatile Random-Access Memory(NVRAM) will fix your speaker volume, display, long startup, and the other typical problems.
•    After that, launch the Apple menu.
•    Select Shut Down option.
•    Then locate the reset keys, and long press cmd, option, P and R.
•    Now, turn on your Macbook.
•    Tap the NVRAM reset keys before the Apple logo comes on screen.
•    Keep on long pressing the reset keys until your MacBook starts properly.
•     If you have still problems in your Macbook, then maybe you should do a factory reset.
Reset your Battery
Here is the process of resetting battery in MacBook Pro. Follow the instructions carefully.
•    Basically, your battery will be resetting your Mac’s external lights, button press response, and battery management also, but it all depends on the SMC(System Management Controller).
•    Here are some symptoms of SMC like your Macbook turns off and going to sleep mode itself, external lights are not working properly, power button not responding and the fan is running at high speed.
•    After that, launch your Apple menu.
•    Hit the Shut Down option.
•    Then connect your MacBook with your charger.
•    Locate the SMC reset keys.
•    Thereafter, long press SMC keys, cmd, option and shift.
•    Tap on the power button.
•    If your problem does not solve after the restart, then you can go for the factory reset option.
Restore the Factory Settings.
  Here is the process of restoring the Factory Settings in MacBook Pro. Follow the instructions carefully.
•    If back up is possible before restoring in your Macbook, then go for it. Otherwise, you will lose all your data.
•    Then go to your Apple menu and hit Restart option.
•    After that long press cmd and R  together at the same time.
•    Now, lose the keys when you see the Apple logo comes in your screen.
•    Choose Disk Utility option and then hit continue.
•    After that, choose your Mac’s hard drive.
•    Then hit the Erase tab.
•    After opening the new window, you can see the format on the drop-down box. Hit on it.
•    Then select “Mac OS Extended” (Journaled).
•    Hit on Erase option and Done.
•    Select Disk Utility.
•    Now, select Quit Disk Utility.
•    Choose Reinstall macOS.
•    Hit on continue.
•    Then follow the instructions on the screen.
