Sidecar: Introducing the Most Significant Feature of iPadOS 13

Sidecar is amongst the most amazing new features that will soon come to iPad. This tool was initially announced at the WWDC in the month of June. Sidecar enables you to pair your iPad to your Mac remotely. Your Mac display can be mirrored to your iPad wirelessly. Your tablet can also work as an input device for compatible Mac apps, and yes, the Sidecar feature also enables you to use your Apple Pencil. .

You will be able to use this feature at the end of this year(2019). The iPadOS 13 and macOS Catalina will release at the same time according to the rumors. Until the official release, you can still access this feature in the iPadOS 13 public betas.
Sidecar: What is it?
Sidecar allows you to use your Mac remotely from the help your iPad. It provides you the display of your Mac over your iPad display. By doing that you can also use Apple Pencil with your Mac. Overall, this feature will step up your tech to the next level.
How to Set up Sidecar
If you have iPadOS 13 beta installed on your iPad, then you can set up the feature for getting started. To use this feature, your iPad and Mac should be connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and you can also use a USB-C cable to connect with your Mac. Your both Apple devices should be logged in with same Apple credentials. Now activate the Bluetooth on both Mac and your iPad.
To Start Sidecar feature:
  1. Go to System Preferences.
  2. Navigate to Sidecar.
  3. Inside Connect to option, tap on “Select Device.”
  4. Select the iPad option.
Your iPad has been hooked up with your Mac successfully. Now, the  Mac screen will show up on your iPad. Enjoy using Apple pencil on your Mac and use all functions of your Mac on your iPad.
How to Mirror?
When you are connected with your Mac, you will have to choose whether to cast displays or extend the screen of your Mac on your tab.
To choose which type of display to use:
  1. On your Mac, click the AirPlay option located at the upper right corner of the toolbar.
  2. Choose “Open Display Preferences.”
  3. In Airplay Display, click the “Arrangement” option.
  4. Now, check the “Mirror Displays” box in case you wish to mirror your Mac screen on your iPad.
  5. If you wish to extend the Mac display on your tablet, then you have to choose which monitor you want to see at first: Mac or iPad. You can do that by dragging your finger on the icon that shows each display across the screen.
