How to Create Custom Signatures in the Mail App on MacBook?

Everyone wants their email signatures to look amazing. Apple Mail allows users to make their special mark using a customized email signature. The process of setting up a customized signature in Mail has just become more complicated over time, unfortunately. However, you can follow the steps given below and do the same.

Creating a Signature
If you want to create a signature in the Mail app, then you need to follow the instructions given below.
  • First of all, you have to open the Mail application on the MacBook.
  • Then you should click on Mal in the Menu Bar.
  • You have to choose Preferences.
  • After that, you should select the Signatures option.
  • Go to the left column, choose the email account you would like to make a signature for.
  • Navigate to the “+Add” icon beneath the middle column.
  • Later, you should give a name for the signature.
  • Now, go to the right column, you can make the signature.
Remove a Signature
  • Get started by opening the Mail application on the MacBook.
  • Then you should click on the Mail in the Menu Bar.
  • Navigate to the Preferences option.
  • You have to select the Signatures option.
  • Go to the left column, choose the email account in which the signature is in, or see All Signatures.
  • Navigate to the middle column & select the signature that you would like to remove.
  • After that select the Remove option beneath the middle column.
  • Now, you have to confirm that you would like to remove the signature.
Add a Signature to Emails Automatically
If you want to add a signature to emails automatically, then you need to follow the instructions given below.
  • To get started, open the Mail application on the MacBook.
  • Then you should click on the Mail in the Menu Bar.
  • Navigate to the Preferences option.
  • You have to click on the Signatures option.
  • Go to the left column & choose an email account.
  • Thereafter navigate to the drop-down menu at the end of the Signature Preferences & select the “Choose Signature.”
  • Now, choose the signature name that you would like to use.
Add Signatures to Emails Yourself
  • To begin with, open the Mail application on the MacBook.
  • Then you should select the Compose option.
  • Navigate to the Compose window & select the “Signature pop-up menu.”
  • Now, select the signature.
Delete a Signature from Emails
If you want to delete a signature from emails, then you need to follow the instructions given below.
  • First, you have to open the Mail application on the MacBook.
  • You should select the Compose tab.
  • Then you have to navigate to the Compose screen & choose the “Signature pop-up menu.”
  • Now, choose None for the signature, or choose the signature text & click on Delete on the keyboard.
